90° Elbow for Chain-Driven Pan Feeder System Introduction
The 90° elbow is a key component for flexible layout—enabling sharp turns without jamming and ensuring uniform feed delivery to all pens.
1. Material
- Housing: 201 or 304 stainless steel, 1.2–2.0 mm thick—corrosion-resistant and robust;
- Inner guide/slide: UHMW-PE plastic or stainless steel—reduces chain friction;
- Smooth interior with no burrs for seamless pan passage.
2. Available Types
- Compatible tube diameters: Φ75 mm, Φ90 mm, Φ110 mm, Φ125 mm;
- Bend radius: Standard R150 mm or R200 mm (larger radius = less resistance);
- Angle: Precise 90°, available in left-hand or right-hand orientation.
3. Key Specifications
- Max chain speed: ≤15 m/min;
- Max fill level: ≤50%;
- Operating temperature: -20°C to +70°C;
- No power required—fully passive mechanical guide.
4. Typical Dimensions (e.g., Φ110 mm, R200 mm)
- Center-to-center distance: approx. 400 mm × 400 mm;
- Overall size: approx. 450 mm × 450 mm × 120 mm;
- Connection: Flanged or quick-coupling ends, compatible with straight tubes;
- Weight: 3–6 kg (depending on material and size).
5. Installation
Install the 90° elbow into the feed line, aligning both ends with straight tubes and securing tightly with clamps or bolts—ensure smooth internal transition with no steps. After threading the chain and pans, manually pull through to verify smooth passage. Add a support bracket under the elbow to prevent sagging under long-term load.
