Stainless Steel Chain-Driven Feed Tube Introduction
Stainless steel feed tubes offer high strength, long service life, and superior hygiene—ideal for humid or corrosive environments, making them the preferred choice for modern poultry and swine automated feeding systems.
1. Material
Made from food-grade 304 or 201 stainless steel, seam-welded and internally polished (Ra ≤ 0.8μm)—smooth, corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, and compliant with feed hygiene standards.
2. Available Types
- Tube diameters: Φ60 mm, Φ90 mm, Φ110 mm, (common);
- Wall thickness: 1.2–2.0 mm (selected by line length and load);
- Segment length: Standard 6m sections; total line up to 200 m customizable.
3. Key Specifications
- Compatible chain: Standard 25.4 mm (1″) pitch pan chain;
- Max fill level: ≤50% (to prevent jamming);
- Operating temperature: -20°C to +70°C;
- Surface finish: Brushed or mirror polish (stain and scratch resistant).
4. Typical Dimensions (e.g., Φ110 mm × 1.5 mm wall)
- Outer diameter: 110 mm;
- Inner diameter: approx. 107 mm;
- Weight per meter: ~4.5–5.0 kg;
- Connection: Flanged, clamp-type, or push-fit quick coupling.
5. Installation
Install support hangers every 2–3 meters along the ceiling or wall, keeping the tube level or with a slight slope (≤2°) for smooth pan movement. Connect tube sections tightly with flanges or clamps to prevent feed leakage. After threading the chain and attaching pans, mount the drive unit at one end. Test run empty before feeding.
