Total Mixed Ration(TMR)Introduction

The TMR mixer ensures precise ration formulation and uniform blending—improving feed intake and milk yield, making it a core feeding equipment in modern dairy farms.

1. Material
  • Mixing tank: Made of high-strength wear-resistant manganese steel or carbon steel—smooth interior resists feed abrasion;
  • Mixing blades: Special alloy steel, heat-treated for high hardness and long life;
  • Chassis & drivetrain: Structural steel with anti-rust paint coating.

Common capacities: 3m³, 5m³, 8m³, 10m³, 12m³, 16m³;
By drive type: Towable (tractor-pulled) or self-propelled (with engine);
By auger type: Single-auger, twin-auger, or vertical mixer.

  • Required power: Towable models need tractor ≥50 HP;
  • Mixing time: 8–15 minutes per batch;
  • Discharge method: Hydraulic side dump or rear discharge;
  • Mixing uniformity: ≥95%.
  • Overall size (L×W×H): approx. 5.5 m × 2.2 m × 2.6 m;
  • Wheel track: 1.8–2.0 m;
  • Ground clearance: ≥300 mm;
  • Feed inlet height: 2.0–2.4 m (compatible with loader).

No complex installation needed—towable TMR wagons connect directly to a tractor via drawbar or 3-point hitch. Before first use, check hydraulic oil, gear oil, and blade tightness. Add forage, concentrate, and additives in sequence, start mixing, then use hydraulic control to discharge into feed bunks. Clean residue regularly to prevent spoilage.
