Evaporative Cooling Pad (Wet Curtain) Introduction
Used together with negative pressure fans, the evaporative cooling pad can lower poultry house temperature by 3–8°C through evaporation—making it an essential summer cooling solution in modern farms.
1. Material
The cooling pad is made of special cellulose paper (e.g., wood pulp + phenolic resin) hot-pressed into a rigid honeycomb structure. It offers high water absorption, mold resistance, and aging resistance. The surface is specially treated for even water distribution and anti-clogging.

Common thicknesses are: 100mm, 150mm;
The length and width can be customized. The outer frame materials include aluminum alloy outer frame, stainless steel outer frame, galvanized sheet outer frame, PVC outer frame, etc.
3. Key Specifications
- Cooling efficiency: 70%–85% (under standard conditions);
- Air velocity through pad: 1.0–1.5 m/s;
- Specific surface area: approx. 400–500 m²/m³;
- Service life: 5–8 years (with proper maintenance).

- Panels are assembled seamlessly to form a full wall;
- Custom sizes available to fit poultry house openings or walls.
5. Installation
Mount the frame on the windward wall opening of the poultry house, insert the cooling pads, and seal all gaps. Install a uniform water distribution pipe at the top and a drain pan at the bottom connected to a recirculating water pump. Use clean water free of debris to prevent clogging.
