Inclined Screen Solid-Liquid Separator Introduction
The inclined screen separator is simple, low-energy, and reliable—ideal for primary manure treatment in farms, especially as a pre-treatment step before biogas or biological systems.
1. Material
- Screen: 304 stainless steel wedge-wire screen (slot 0.25–1.0 mm)—wear and corrosion resistant;
- Frame: Hot-dip galvanized steel or 304 stainless steel—rust-proof and durable;
- Spray bar: UPVC or stainless steel with flat-fan nozzles.
2. Available Types
- Capacity: 10–100 m³/h;
- Suitable for: Dilute manure slurry, biogas effluent, wash water (total solids ≤3%);
- Screen angle: 35°–45° (gravity flow + water-assisted cleaning).
3. Key Specifications
- No motor required (gravity type) or optional wash pump (0.75–2.2 kW);
- Separation efficiency: ≥70% removal of solids ≥0.3 mm;
- Discharge solids moisture: 70%–85%;
- No moving parts—very low maintenance.
4. Typical Dimensions (e.g., 50 m³/h model)
- Screen size (L×W): approx. 2000 mm × 1000 mm;
- Overall height: approx. 1800 mm;
- Inlet diameter: Φ150–200 mm;
- Solids discharge height: ≥600 mm above ground.
5. Installation
Install downstream of manure pit or after a lift pump, ensuring even feed distribution across the top of the screen. Maintain a stable incline (typically ~40°). Filtrate flows into a collection trough below; solids slide down to a collection bin. If equipped with spray system, connect clean water and run periodically to prevent clogging.
