Chicken drinking spout
The poultry nipple drinker is a core component of modern farming—hygienic, water-efficient, and effective in preventing disease spread.
1. Material
The drinker body is made of food-grade 304 stainless steel or high-strength engineering plastic—corrosion-resistant, non-toxic, and long-lasting. The internal spring and seal are made of food-grade silicone or rubber, ensuring precise water release with no dripping.
2. Types & Models
- By bird type: chick model (low flow) and universal model for broilers/layers;
- By connector: Φ6 mm or Φ8 mm quick-fit fittings, compatible with various water lines;
- Activation: 360° omnidirectional—water releases with a light peck.
3. Key Specifications
- Operating water pressure: 0.05–0.3 MPa (recommended: 0.1–0.2 MPa);
- One nipple serves approx. 20–50 birds (depending on age and season);
- Service life: over 3–5 years;
- Water-saving design with virtually no leakage.
4. Typical Dimensions
- Total length: approx. 50–65 mm;
- Mounting thread: G1/2″ or M16×1.5 (common standards);
- Trigger height: 20–30 mm below the water line for easy access.
5. Installation
Screw the nipple vertically into pre-drilled holes on the main water line (PVC or PE pipe), ensuring a watertight seal. Install at the bird’s eye level—lower for chicks, gradually raised as they grow. Bleed air from the line and adjust water pressure before first use.
