Drum Microscreen Filter for Fish Pond Introduction

The microscreen filter efficiently removes suspended solids, greatly reducing turbidity and organic load—making it an essential physical filtration unit in modern recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS).

1. Material
  • Drum screen: 316L stainless steel (typical pore size 80–200 μm)—corrosion-resistant and robust;
  • Frame: 304 stainless steel or engineering plastic—rust-proof and durable;
  • Spray bar: UPVC or stainless steel with flat-fan nozzles.
  • Flow capacity: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 m³/h, etc.;
  • Screen mesh: 80μm, 100μm, 120μm, 150μm, 200μm (interchangeable);
  • Suitable for: RAS systems, hatcheries, ornamental fish ponds.
  • Motor power: 0.37–1.5 kW (drive + wash pump);
  • Control mode: Auto-start by pressure differential or timer;
  • Filtration efficiency: ≥90% for particles ≥100μm;
  • Voltage: 220V / 380V, 50Hz.
  • Overall size (L×W×H): approx. 1200 mm × 800 mm × 1100 mm;
  • Drum diameter: Φ600 mm;
  • Inlet/outlet: DN65–DN100 flange or union;
  • Sludge outlet: Φ75–110 mm PVC pipe.

Install the microfilter in the main return line—after the settling tank or fish toilet, and before the biofilter. Keep the unit level, and keep inlet/outlet pipes short with no sharp bends. Connect power and a clean water source for backwash (can use system water or fresh water). On first start-up, adjust backwash frequency and pressure to prevent screen clogging.
