Cattle Self-Grooming Brush Introduction

The cattle brush helps cows clean their skin, relieve itching, and reduce rubbing against fences—improving comfort, welfare, and milk yield. It’s an essential feature in modern, welfare-focused dairy farms.

1. Material
  • Bristles: High-elasticity polypropylene (PP) or nylon—soft, wear-resistant, and gentle on cow skin;
  • Brush shaft & frame: Hot-dip galvanized steel or stainless steel—rust-proof and durable;
  • By drive type: Mechanical (activated by cow contact) or electric (motor-driven rotation);
  • By orientation: Horizontal brush (for sides) or vertical brush (for back/neck);
  • Can be installed singly or combined into “L-shaped” or “U-shaped” grooming stations.
  • Motor power (electric model): 0.37 kW–0.55 kW;
  • Rotation speed: 10–30 rpm (slow and gentle to avoid stress);
  • Voltage: 220V / 380V, 50Hz;
  • Protection rating: IP55 (dust and water spray resistant).

Secure the bracket to a barn post or wall using welding or bolts—ensure the brush rotates freely without wobbling. For electric models, connect power and verify rotation direction (should follow the cow’s body contour). Install near alley corners, feeding areas, or resting zones to encourage natural use by cattle.
