Poultry Water Pressure Regulator Introduction

The water pressure regulator is a key component of automatic drinking systems—ensuring consistent pressure, smooth water access, water savings, and longer equipment life.

1. Material

The body is made of high-quality engineering plastic (e.g., POM or ABS) or brass—corrosion-resistant and durable. Internal seals are food-grade silicone or EPDM rubber, non-toxic and safe for poultry drinking water.

  • Connection sizes: commonly Φ6 mm, Φ8 mm, Φ10 mm (fits various water lines);
  • Compatible with: nipple drinker lines, cup drinkers, etc.;
  • Optional with or without built-in pressure gauge.
  • Adjustable pressure range: 0.05–0.3 MPa (recommended: 0.1–0.2 MPa);
  • Max inlet pressure: ≤0.6 MPa;
  • Operating temperature: 0°C to 50°C;
  • Provides stable pressure to prevent drips or dry nipples.
  • Overall length: approx. 60–90 mm;
  • Diameter (with fittings): approx. 25–35 mm;
  • Installation: installed in-line between main and branch water lines—must follow flow direction (arrow marked on body).

Install the regulator in the water line following the flow direction (marked by an arrow), usually at the start of each drinker line. Secure quick-fit or threaded connections to prevent leaks. On first use, slowly open the water supply and adjust the knob to the proper pressure (check nipple performance).
