Feed Bin / Feed Silo Introduction
The feed bin is a core storage component in modern farms, effectively preserving feed freshness, reducing waste, and improving automated feeding efficiency.
1. Material
The feed bin body is made of high-quality galvanized steel or aluminum alloy, with a smooth, rust-resistant interior that meets feed hygiene standards. Some premium models feature an outer thermal-insulation coating to prevent feed from moisture or heat-induced spoilage.
2. Available Types
Common capacities include 3T, 5T, 8T, 10T, 15T, 20T,25T,30T,and 35T, allowing selection based on farm size and feeding system requirements.
3. Key Specifications
- Operating temperature range: -30°C to +60°C;
- Excellent sealing—waterproof, rodent-proof, and moisture-resistant;
- Conical bottom design ensures smooth, residue-free discharge;

5. Installation
The feed bin must be installed on a solid, level concrete foundation and secured with anchor bolts. Ensure vertical alignment during installation and connect to the feed conveying pipe or auger system. If equipped with an automatic control system, connect power and signal cables accordingly.
