Stainless Steel Pig Feeder Trough Introduction
The 201 stainless steel pig feeder is durable, easy to clean, and cost-effective—ideal for routine feeding in small to medium-scale pig farms.
1. Material
Made of 201 stainless steel sheet (1.0–1.5 mm thick), fully bent and welded—smooth surface for easy cleaning. Slightly less corrosion-resistant than 304, but more cost-effective for standard dry/wet feed applications.
2. Available Types
- By pig type: For weaners, growers, or sows;
- By design: Single-sided (wall-mounted) or double-sided (center aisle);
- Capacity: 3–20 L per feeding space (depending on age).

- Service life: 3–6 years (in dry indoor barns);
- Temperature range: -20°C to +80°C;
- Surface finish: Brushed or polished (scratch-resistant);
- Optional: Anti-waste lip, integrated drinker hole.

- Overall size (L×W×H): 1000 mm × 300 mm × 250 mm;
- Inner width per side: approx. 120–150 mm;
- Feeding lip height: 150–180 mm (ergonomic for pigs);
- Mounting holes: Φ8–10 mm at both ends for bolting.
5. Installation
Secure the trough to the front of pens or along aisles using expansion bolts or welded brackets—ensure it’s level and stable. Install double-sided models centered in the aisle; single-sided models flush against the pen wall. Check for sharp edges after installation to prevent mouth injuries. Rinse thoroughly after each feeding.
