Poultry House Manure Belt System Introduction

The manure belt system enables fully automatic, enclosed manure removal—reducing labor, lowering ammonia levels, and improving barn environment. It’s a standard setup in modern layer and breeder farms.

1. Material

The manure belt is made of high-strength PVC or PU composite material—smooth, corrosion-resistant, and tear-resistant. Reinforced with a polyester fabric layer for durability, it performs well in humid, ammonia-rich poultry environments.

  • Common belt widths: 400 mm, 500 mm, 600 mm, 700 mm (customized to cage width);
  • Thickness: 1.8–3.0 mm;
  • Roll length: 50 m, 100 m, or custom-made.
  • Tensile strength: ≥200 N/mm;
  • Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C;
  • Running speed: approx. 1–3 meters per minute;
  • Motor power: 0.37 kW–0.75 kW (gear motor).
  • Belt width: 50–100 mm wider than cage bottom to prevent spillage;
  • Installation height: directly under cage floor, 0.8–1.2 m above ground;
  • Support roller spacing: every 1.5–2 meters to keep the belt flat.

Thread the belt through the house, looping around the drive drum and tail drum to form a closed loop. Use a tensioning device to adjust tightness and prevent slippage. The motor drives the drum to automatically convey manure to an external collection pit. Test run after power-on to check for misalignment or jamming.
